See the New Super Remote with a Screen - WoW!!! Amazing !!!

Now you don't need a bunch of remote controls for various gadgets and other appliance like TVs to control and watch it. The Ray Super Remote may give you a choice of content you want to listen or watch. From a TV serial to a soccer game to whatever, this device will provide you almost all that.

Priced at around  199 US dollars, it is expected to hit the world market later this year. It runs on software that learns viewers' preferences so it can list programs suited to personal interests. It is designed to control TVs, cable boxes, DVRs, video game consoles and Internet streaming players such as Roku and Apple TV.

"As we looked at ways to re-imagine TV, it seemed like the remote control needed the most help. We think we have a big opportunity to do something magical," says David Skokna, CEO of New York-based Ray Enterprises told AP.

The remote won't be released until May or June, but pre-orders are being accepted online at http://www.ray.co.

Only it requires a Wi-Fi system and pay-TV boxes to work properly.

According to a report the Ray remote controls more than 200,000 devices and can run applications that will enable it to control other Internet-connected home appliances, such as Google's Nest thermostat.

A variety of mobile apps are also offering ways to turn smartphones and tablets into multipurpose remote controls.

The Ray Super Remote puts all of your devices, programming and functions into one 4.8-inch display that promises to simplify your home entertainment experience.

Everything is built around a visual user experience that puts bold graphic art first. The initial “Hello” screen gives your favorite consumption options in a simple vertical layout while always displaying weather, time and battery life in an similar to iOS.

The search function is designed to find any show, movie, episode or channel across all your devices.

This has the potential to be the universal search option that Apple TV users have long yearned for. They are currently partnering with Dish Network for a customized Hopper experience.

Ray also learns about your viewing preferences and offers “customized experiences” for finding what you want on television. It has a kids mode that only provides appropriate viewing options – think iOS guided access – as well as an enhanced sports mode.

Pre-orders are currently available direct from Ray with a $199 price tag and free shipping for a limited time only.
